The Howling Commandos, or Invaders, are an Allied taskforce in the World War II era of Marvel Legends, led by Captain America. It is made up from specialised soldiers from many Allied countries. The Commandos were formed to combat Nazi and HYDRA forces in Nazi-occupied Europe. They specialised in fighting in missions associated with the unknown or the technical advances of HYDRA.
